Huge terminus with busses to all parts of the state but on 13 Jan, 2021 the APSRTC staff at ticket counter tried to fill Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam bus with all Vizag bound passengers by not letting passengers like me to board the bus till Rajahmundry. They allowed us only when we confronted them. They should be taken to task.

Very neat and well maintenance at the station premises. One small thing is many people getting confused about the services bcoz it's a huge space and people can't find particular bus at particular point.( City busses, tourist bus point, busses go to other places). so, please do mention some sign boards like departure station, arrival station, parcel station, outside gateway,etc...at some main places ( like all signs in one vertical board) .it will be very helpful for many.

PNBS ,Pandit Nehru Bus Stand is the famous bus stand of Vijayawada , where all the busses arrive for the passengers and always a busy area ,not only the city busses , all the busses of APSRTC and of many regional places and neighbouring states busses also arrives here and this became a great and helpful bus stand and one of the biggest and busiest bus stand of Andhrapradesh, all the city busses comes here for the passengers and became a very useful bustop for the students, daily work men and all the residents of one town and other . Here in the bus stand when bus delays or when we are hungry , here the bus stand is fully loaded with many kinds of fast foods such as chocolates , biscuits etc. were available here and the toilets were somewhat well maintained.and probably this is the great and biggest bust stand in Andhra Pradesh

It's one of the India's biggest bus stand. We can have spacious place where we have buses for all over the state and to other states also as well. Even we have the Ac buses and recently this bus stand has renovated and in that we have a movie screen also and no of food stalls, even hotels. And if we come out of the station we also have the way to have city bus routes also and it is very near to railway station .

Vijayawada (formerly Bezawada)[6][7] is the second largest city in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[8] It is the administrative headquarters of the NTR district. Vijayawada lies on the banks of Krishna river surrounded by the hills of Eastern Ghats, known as Indrakeeladri Hills.[9] It geographically lies on the center spot of Andhra Pradesh.[10] The city has been described as the commercial, political, and educational capital of Andhra Pradesh,[10] second largest city in Andhra Pradesh and is one of the fastest growing urban areas in India. Vijayawada is considered to be a sacred place for residing one of the most visited and famous temples of Andhra Pradesh and India, Kanaka. Durga Temple of Hindu Goddess Durga also serves as the ritual host of Pushkaram (a river worshipping ritual in India) of River Krishna. There is a legend which says that Arjuna, one of the heroes of the Indian epic Mahabharata, prayed on top of the Indrakeeladri Hill in the city and won the blessings of Lord Shiva to get the Pashupatastra to win the Kurukshetra War.It was called Vijayavatika (meaning Land of Victory in Telugu) when Goddess Durga killed the demon Mahishasura and rested on the Indrakeeladri Hill by the River Krishna establishing the victory over evil hence the place got its name Vijayavatika, "Vijaya"- meaning victory and "Vatika" meaning Place or land in Telugu.Over the years Vijayavatika name changed to Rajendra Chola Pura during Chola Dynasty and Bezawada during British rule and eventually to Vijayawada.
