Dr Tarush Thakur : About Us !

Let us introduce Dr Tarush Thakur. He is the owner of Arch Dental. Dr. Tarush was born and raised in Shimla. He passed his 10th from St Edward’s School in 2002 and continued his education at Chapslee School with medical subjects. Dr. Tarush graduated from The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, Bangalore in 2010. Dr. Tarush earned the Excellence in Clinical Dentistry by being one of the top clinicians in his graduating class. He further pursued his Specialization from Himachal Dental College which is located at Sundernagar, in the field of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics. With the experience of more than ten clinics, which he gives his consultations to, he feels more than happy to restore the smiles of his patients.

Dr. Tarush enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He appreciates the comfortable atmosphere of his practice. Dr. Tarush says, “One of the most rewarding things I do is to take a patient from a state of disease and pain to a state of well being, health, and having a reason to smile. I love to listen to my patients concerns and values, which are of upmost importance to me.” He has special bond with all his patients especially ones who come for Orthodontic Treatment (Braces).

Special Interests :

Dr. Tarush has a special interest in Implant Dentistry where he has received extensive training. With his experience and technological advancements, he has brought this expertise to his home town. Implants, being the latest tooth replacement options, are a great alternative approach. With very few super specialists in the region, Dr Tarush stands to make a mark.

Dr. Tarush married his colleague who is also a specialist in dentistry , Dr Aprajita, in 2017. Dr. Tarush is passionate about social work as well, arranging for free dental checkup camps and seminars. When you have questions or need advice, it is never an inconvenience for us. Dr Aprajita Dogra : About Us !

Introducing Dr Aprajita has been very special. Dr Aprajita Dogra is the Co- owner of Arch Dental. She was born and raised at Hamirpur. While she lived in Una for completing her schooling, she passed her 10th from Aadhunik Public school, Dharamshala and continued her 12th from Chandigarh. She graduated from Himachal Pradesh University and pursued her post graduation from the same.  Dr Aprajita has been part of Himachal Dental College sundernagar for quiet some time. Because she excelled her clinical skills, she treated patients in very high efficiency. She has known to be highly skilled and efficient worker and strives to achieve better on daily basis.

The best thing about being a Root canal Specialist is that she gets to see her patients routinely. She loves helping people to feel good about themselves and make a difference in their lives by supporting their health. Pain management is her portfolio and she is expert in that. She has studied under Dr Gopi Krishna (One of the leading Endodontist from Chennai India.) at Chennai and gained professional efficiency. She always believes in continuing dental education and devotes two to three hours per day for that. 

Special Interests : 

Dr Aprajita also manages the administration at the clinic efficiently. She takes care and supervises the sterlisation protocol and makes sure everything is arranged properly and back at its place. She has special interest in gardening which can also be seen at the dental office. Besides clinical work, she reads novels and takes out time for her books regularly.
