β β β β β The carpenter did an extremely shoddy job. The project was delayed causing distress and harassment. The fittings were not done properly. One on the doors fitted in kitchen fell on us while operating.

β β β β β The day i booked my flat(under construction) i followed his suggestions to modify and even our builder liked some of his ideas and modified few items for the whole series of flats. He helped me made by small 2 BHK flat into a spacious one with Foldable 6X6.5 bed, foldable dinning table, Fitting the washing machine in a kitchen closet to make our balcony look big and many more suggestions for interiors like changing the tiles, changing the kitchen design given by builder, planning attics for huge storage without affecting the design and many more. He has very good ideas, we just have to pull them out.

β β β β β Unprofessional, opaque, and very bad execution abilities.
I hired Ardes Architects- Praveen- almost six months back for interiors of my home in Koramangala, and the work is still lingering on. A thorough unprofessional who hasn't kept his work even once, has missed timelines, and hasn't been transparent in his working on the financial matters. We got lured into his Architecture abilities, but when it came to execution, he and his team lacked time and cost commitments.
Even after multiple reminders and even threats he hasn't shared the costing with us, has missed deadlines time and again, and hasn't come back with our queries.
I would highly discourage you to engage with Praveen and team, unless you want to ruin your dream project.

β β β β β Praveen was the architect of the villa we currently live in and was involved from early conceptualization to till date. Praveen is very approachable and takes the time to explain the pros and cons of various architectural, design and build choices at every stage. He helped us explore modern material choices (e.g: UPVC windows instead of wood which we are very happy with) and was flexible in customizing his style to our requirements. He helped us with identifying an engineer to execute the project and verify the project cost based on execution. We also made him responsible for the interior decoration, once we overcame the initial hurdles to work out a consistent schedule to move things at a consistent pace. I learnt a great deal on the pros and cons of various choices as he is a pleasure to work with. I would engage him as an architect for his knowledge, interest in sharing knowledge, flexibility and approachability and pair him with an engineer who is strong in execution to keep things moving.

β β β β β My first meeting with architect Praveen, was impressive. He came across as straightforward, knowledgeable, and keen. He showed me some of his remodelling work portfolios and seemed to understand my ideas for our home pretty well. But post the meeting, I contacted him a number of times to remind him to send me his work scope, and fee proposal. He did not keep to the timelines he set to send these over, nor did he respond with any reasons about his not being able to send them. He simply didnt respond even when I told him how disappointed I was about him being unprofessional. I've since hired another contractor and the work in my home is going as per plan.
