Act to Rise for Innovation in Special Education (ARISE) Impact is a non-profit organization, working towards enabling self-learning with employability outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
We were founded in 2010 by Abhishek Syal, who invented a multi-patent pending map and diagram reader for the visually challenged children in India. While working on his research from 2006- 2010, he realized that his work was enabling self-learning for the visually challenged children. This motivated him and the founding team to launch a non-profit platform to create, develop and disseminate self-educational resources for these children. Thus began the development of Special Education Modules (SEMs) for the visually challenged.
Our specialty is development of self-learning, experiential content. Our bilingual modules provide a life-long learning experience through development of self-learning as a skill set. This in turn help amplify their voice, supplement their education, and brighten their future.
