★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The address on the map, and the photo of the building entrance are right, but the pin is in the wrote, which seems to be a problem in Kolkata. The shop is perhaps 10 streets away -maybe search by address?
The shop, which is run by the Crafts Council of West Bengal, has by far the most stock of any of the government/NGO shops I went to in Kolkata. It has some unique products. It is not the cheapest place, but it’s products are good.
They also run a Kantha embroidery workshop somewhere in Kolkata. I didn’t go, but it might be worth checking out.
NOTE: They get a lot of tourists from 5 star hotels, brought by a guide. They give the guide 10% of what you buy -they offer it to guide! My guide refused, and talked them into giving me a 5% discount.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Artisana has a great collection of arts work from Bengal. The only drawback is the location which is in a non descript lane and building. Someone who is really aware of the location and their work would be able to locate them otherwise it will be lost.
