Arun Jaitley Stadium is very big and attractive as soon as I talk about it, its special thing is that there are many players of IPL, irrespective of the number of cricketers who come under BCCI a stadium is a venue mostly for outdoor sports, concerts and other events. it consists of a field or stage surrounding by a tiered structure designed to allow spectators to stand or sit and view the entire eventthe feroz shah kotla, is the second oldest international cricket stadium in india. the stadium was a fortress built by sultan feroz shah tughlaq to house his version of delhi city called ferozabad. the stadium gets its name from its location. it is in the vicinity of the feroz shah kotla, a fortress built by sultan feroz shah tughlaq in 1883. on 12 september 2019, the stadium was renamed in memory of former finance minister and former ddca president arun jaitley. the decision to name the stadium after the politician, who was once the president of ddca and also the vice-president of the bcci.after announcing the name change, ddca also put out a clarification stating the stadium is only being renamed but the ground will be still called feroz shah kotla ground. the first international game here was a test match between india and the west indies in 1948.feroz shah kotla is home to the delhi ranji team and the delhi daredevils ipl team. the feroz shah kotla has been a very happy hunting ground for the indian cricket team.

Arun Jaitley Stadium is a cricket stadium located at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi.Established in 1883 as the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, being near the Kotla fort, it is the second oldest international cricket stadium still functional in India, after the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. As a matter of felicitation, the DDCA named four stands of the stadium after former India captain Bishan Singh Bedi, former India all-rounder Mohinder Amarnath, former India opener and Delhi Ranji player Gautam Gambhir and current captain Virat Kohli. It was also decided to name the home team's dressing room after Raman Lamba and the opposition's dressing room after Prakash Bhandari. The Feroz Shah Kotla stadium is one of the oldest and well known cricket ground in India??. It has been taken from the 14th century monument situated next to it. Arun jaitly is credited with rebuilding the stadium and saving it from losing its international status. Jaitley was the president of Delhi and District Cricket Association [ DDCA ] from 1999 to 2013. The stadium was established as a cricket ground in 1883. The stadium has undergone some heavy reconstruction and is equipped with latest amenities for successfully organizing international cricket matches. The Kotla is famous for Anil Kumble’s feat of taking 10 wickets in a Test innings which he claimed against Pakistan. The stadium though has traditionally been a batsman's paradise due to the nature of the pitches which for the most part have been docile. • Venue Detailes - Bahadur shah zafar Marg, New Delhi, Dl 110002 . • capacity - 55000. • Ends - Stadium End, Pavilion End . • Association Name - Delhi District Cricket Association • Floodslights - presents. • operator - Delhi District Cricket AssociationAssociation.
