M	Manoranjan Sahoo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ went to this school in 1987 as a student in Class VI, and graduated from this school with HSC exam in 1992. we had some great teachers and librarians at our time in school, the atmosphere was excellent, giving it's student the liberty and independence to do what students are willing to do. I would say, the school provided the same opportunity that a university provides to its students for research. With all the odds, it was a grate school to study at our time. It taught leadership quality with NCC (Army Wing), Boys Scouts, Junior red Cross. I think we had the opportunity to be served by the last Librarian of this school Late Prabhakar sir. It had a dedicated "science Bhawan" for general Science, It had a large stock of variety of maps to support the study of geography, we had the best teacher in geography Mr Ramesh Panda, who was also the Hindi Teacher, i would say, he was the best geography teacher, the school might have had during his life span. We had a very good PET, but during our time the overall administration at the top was slack, means the head masters did not carry the respect they should from their team of assistant and senior teachers. Naran sir, krushna sir, bhabani sir, annapurna didi, mrutunjaya sir, in class 6th AND 7th and alekha sir, kapila sir, probodha sir, kanhu sir, akshya sir, kapila sir, chakradhar sir, Rama sir, ramesh sir, and suka pandite, what a combination of talent and experience the teachers carried! most of them was more than 45 years old. it was a blend of young teachers and middle and senior teachers. that was awsome

The school was taken over by the State Government in the year 1969. Now it is under the management of School & Mass Education Department, Odisha. The school imparts education for classes from Vi to X in Odia medium following the syllabus prescribed by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha having 6th,7th,8th,9th,10th class in two Section. Besides curricular activities the school emphasizes upon Co-scholastic development of the students. The school has its own building. The school has an area about 3 Acre. The school building is a Pucca building with RCC roof. The student's strength is about 412. The school is located at a distance of 5 kms to the east of Nischintakoili Block in the district of Cuttack. It comes under asureswar Grampanchayat. Ten primary schools feed this high school. A large numbers of students are from low income families.
