★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are overcharging and doing fraud. Had Government birth certificate of my baby w/o name and wanted to get the name added. The person tried to charge the rates of new birth certificate and also added unnecessary documentation and charges for that. Total cost > 900 while same at other Seva kendra was for 250.
Adding answer to reply from Kendra - I already had govt. Document that is registered birth certificate of my baby 1 year old without name. Adding name to the birth certificate after 1 year - oficial charges including penalty charge is Rs. 105. And I received the updated one in 2 days. But as per this centre- he constantly said that this is not birth certi, it is just NAC.( FIRST LIE ). Secondly he added unnecessary docs like PPP ( told that nothing can be done w/o this and asked for additional 200 Rs ) , asked for affidavit and asked for Rs 150 and told that another 460 for the birth certifcate. I have got this done from another centre for Rs 250 ( 105 govt. Charge and rest convenience charge)
