They are corrupt ppl there to only rip off clients. Best to avoid.

After taking a service appointment, I gave my car, Mercedes E class for service to Auto Hanger (Saki Naka, Mumbai) on 06/10/20 which was dropped off by my driver and attended by your service advisor Mr. Nasir Sheikh. The car needed regular service and there was some small noise coming from the steering which needed to be checked. I received a call on 06/10/20 from Mr. Nasir stating that they will test the issue and let me know soon. Full day on 06/10/20 or on 07/10/20 there was no update given by Nasir and on 08/10/20 my driver called up Nasir to ask what the issue was and how much longer it would take. Nasir told him it will take 3 more days to diagnose the issue to which my driver told him to call and brief me. When Nasir called me and told me that it would take 3 more days to diagnose the issue I told him this is ridiculous and how can Mercedes not even do diagnosis for 3 days; I told him to get his manager to call me. 2 Hours went by and no one called me and I again called Nasir myself – this time he told me that they will get the diagnosis report in 2 hours. This really ticked me off as clearly I was being fooled earlier and told him I don’t want to get the steering noise issue resolved and to just return the serviced car back to me. To my shock, I am informed that the car has not even been serviced. So essentially for 3 days these guys did nothing with my car, wanted to keep it for 3 more days by giving me a lie that diagnosis takes so many days and when I got angry did it in 2 hours. I got extremely irritated and told them to return my car back to me. The service advisors manager Mr. Sohaib called me and told me that he is sorry and the workshop was very loaded with work. How can you accept service appointments if you don’t have the capacity to handle the load and fool a customer for 3 days, sit on the car and do nothing? Anyways, My driver reached the showroom to pickup the non serviced car which is when Mr. Pradip Kavtar called me and apologized. He was extremely courteous and assured me quick service and resolution and said he would personally handle my case. Based on the same I did not collect the car back on 08/10/20. Same day at around 8 pm I got a call from someone asking for my email address to send me the quote for the service but I didn’t receive any email. Note this - it was the end of Day 3 and I had not even been given the quote for servicing as yet. Pradip called me the next day and told me there was an issue with the steering rack and the same would cost 4.25 Lakhs – when I inquired about the warranty I was told warranty expired in April 2020. I wanted to reason with him that March 2020 onwards there was a lockdown in the country and even if I wanted to I couldn’t have sent the car but honestly speaking I didn’t expect any consideration from him and had by now lost all faith in Mercedes. He offered me a 50% discount on the parts but this was just more irritating for me. I told him I don’t want to do anything with Mercedes or Auto Hanger and got my non serviced car back after 4 days of sitting at your service center. I got the car serviced elsewhere and to my shock, the noise in the steering was only due to low level of power steering fluid and just by topping the same the noise has disappeared. I completely expect my email to either probably fall on deaf ears, or just be kept in file somewhere, and no serious action will be taken. I honestly have given up on Mercedes – trust me when I say this, my Maruti service center gives me 10 times better service than what I have received this time from Mercedes. Being an owner of 3 Mercedes cars – let me assure you, there will never ever be another Mercedes in my garage. The details about my vehicle the repairs it underwent the hours it spent in the workshop were freely shared by the workshop to potential buyers without my consent . Total lack of integrity. Worried since we also submit our personal documents like aadhar and pan when the vehicle is given for repairs . Totally shocking
