Before leaving my place I had called Mr Saleem and informed him about my visit to speed automotive. One of the other persons, Mr Anand was also present and insisted me to leave the vehicle and take it some other day. I had taken leave from my office and it was not feasible for me to visit the place again, so I asked him to do the required servicing the same day while I wait (I guess Anand took it otherwise). I asked for oil change, coolant change, brake pad set and fog lamp change. Other they checked and said that things were pretty fine. To my shock, the bill amount was around Rs 6000, which was never made clear to me before. I paid the money and got back the car to my place. The car started giving starting problem from the next day. I thought may be because its cold and the car has been washed, this might go when it goes for a run. After 12 days, I started my journey for mumbai, but as soon as I entered expressway, the engine heat signal went on and immediately I stopped the car. I opened the bonut and found that the coolant cap was not fitted and also coolant was leaking from a pipe below the engine. I called Saleem of Speed Automotive as I was stuck on midway. He advised me not to start the vehicle and tow it to some garrage. As the issue was related to coolant leakage and it was replaced recently from speed Automotive, I paid additional charges and got it towed there only. The engineer there told me that it can be reolved in some time. However, I found Mr Anand to be quite defensive and not ready to even listen to the problem I was facing right after the servicing done by them. He denied all possibilities that cause of this might somewhere be related to coolant change that they did on the day of servicing. I requested him to resolve the issue as I have lot of work and have to reach Mumbai at the earliest. He seemd highly inconsiderte and started pointing my mistakes of not leaving the vehicle the other day. He also started preparing estimates and insiting me to either leave the vehicle or take it to another dealer. I was with my wife and his language and behavior was very wrong. I got angry and pointed for his unfair talks. He knew that it was not feasible for us to take it to other dealer as the engine was not even starting, still he talked such things. He also asked his staffs to get the vehicle out and denied to repair it. He left me no choice and i was planning to take legal route when Saleem came and tried to understand my point. I asked Mr Anand to temporarily fix it so that I can atleast go to other dealer to get it fixed, for which he agreed. Later we found that that the fix did not work and I had no choice but to leave the vehicle there. I feel there should have been proper testing before handling it to me after servicing was done earlier. We pay such hefty amount so that they take responsibility of their work/ miss and be considerate if such issues arise. My car was working absolutely fine earlier and its hard for me to belive that everything happening after service is just a coincidence and my bad luck. The car was at his garrage for 4 days and Mr Anand confimed me that it has now been rectified. When it got delivered to me yesterday, i got shocked to see that the car was into really bad shape (starting issue, pick up issue and lot of vibration, AC could not be started). My car absolutely had no issues before I had visited Speed Automotive. Mr Anand is only concerned about his second bill amount of around Rs. 5500. My objective to write this review is just to make you guys aware about my experience with speed automotive. Please discourage such people who only focus on sucking your hard earned money.
