About Axis Bank

A central tenet in the Bank’s Policy on Corporate Governance is commitment to ethics, integrity, accountability and transparency. To ensure that the highest standards are maintained in these aspects on an on-going basis and to provide safeguards to various stakeholders (including shareholders, depositors and employees) the Bank has formulated a ‘Whistleblower Policy’. The Policy provides stakeholders with the opportunity to address serious concerns arising from irregularities, malpractices and other misdemeanours, if any, committed by the Bank’s personnel by approaching a Committee of senior officials of the Bank, set-up for the purpose (known as the Whistleblower Committee). Concerns relating to senior management can be reported directly to the Audit Committee of the Board. The Policy is intended to encourage stakeholders to report suspected or actual occurrence of illegal, unethical or inappropriate actions, behaviour or practices by staff without fear of retribution. To ensure smooth flow and management of complaints under Whistleblower policy, a web-based application – www.cwiportal.com has also been set up which provides an option for anonymous reporting thereby enabling the stakeholders to lodge their complaints online over a secure platform without fear of revelation of identity. The Policy contains provisions protecting Whistleblowers from any unfair action prejudicial to their interest. The Audit Committee of the Board reviews, on a quarterly basis, a synopsis of the complaints received and the resolution thereof.

Most irresponsible staff I ever encounter in my life. They said they will provide instant credit card within two three days and it’s been almost 10 days and nothing happens. Moreover staff didn’t even receive calls and when I tried from some other number they pick the call and give worst excuses as we are illiterate. Roorkee axis bank is worst, even some regional banks are better than this branch.?

Terrible, excruciatingly bad experience. I’m highly disappointed with Axis bank’s services. I have had applied for an Axis bank credit card a month ago. After 6-7 days later I got a call back for documents collection, so finally after such a long time, a bank executive named Rohit from Axis bank Roorkee branch visited me for document collection and took my Aadhar card, Driving license, etc. I filled the form, signed for Axis bank card and was eagerly waiting for any response/verification call/mail/text message from the bank. Weeks passed by after documents collection, I did not got any response from Axis bank representative. This was very frustrating and I was very disappointed. Rohit gave me a tracking id but the tracking id was invalid. I contacted Axis customer care and they said they didn’t receive any documents for card verification. Rohit contacted me and told me come back once again in bank because there was some issue with the signature and I need to re-sign it. So Again I redid the document verification and again no response. It’s been 10 days and still got no response. This person is now not receiving my calls, provided me with false information, so finally I contacted the upper authority and I got the response that there is some technical issue. And now I have to redo the whole process and it will take more than 2 weeks to progress. I am very very disappointed in such bad services by such a reputed bank. I simply replied I don’t need the card anymore. Not all employees are same, I was in touch with a ma'am as well which provided me the best solutions for all of my queries. I will give her 10/10. But some employees needs a quality check in Roorkee branch. As I see my credit report, Axis bank did an enquiry on my account which will now go waste because of such poor handling by this person Rohit. It is such a simple process to provide credit card. I hope the documents I shared and signed for credit card will not be misused and will be destroyed now. This review will act as a security proof just in case. Not only I didn't receive a credit card, but now I also have an additional credit enquiry done which will go in vain and will impact my cibil score. My cibil score is reduced by 16 points. If someone of higher authority is looking this review, kindly take action against the same. Pathetic service. Never recommending to anyone.

Roorkee, worst efficiency with no response from staff. Even pass book updating takes 25 minutes, Branch Manager not aware of Rules and regulations of his branch in Civil Lines Roorkee. Fed up

Very bad customer care service, I am just giving it 1 star because I don't think giving it a 0 star would even count otherwise I would have. Credit card automatically got created, amount getting deducted every month as if I am paying some tax to axis bank. Went to bank. They asked me to call customer care service. I have called them around 50 times. Sometime they will cut the call, sometimes they ll put me on hold and sometimes divert my call to another department which never happened. Frustrated since last few months.

Good response from Customer Care. But in Civil Line Branch Roorkee, people are not responsible and caring. Yes, once they peep into your account that if having good saving, then try to catch you for some Policy. Otherwise; just time pass people sitting in the Civil Line Branch, Roorkee. I am planning to cancel my account to another Bank.

Worst banking experience ever. None of the staff was even ready to talk. I didn't expect this from axis bank, worst environment. I will try now that I do not have to take the facilities of axis bank anymore. Thank you. 22/11/21 If I had a work rating even from 1 star, I would have given it.??
