★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated in sector 3 just opposite to shreeram school gate. Initially my brother recommended me about the place having a great biryani. Maybe at initials it was fine.
I just visited yesterday and here's my view:-
Location- airoli, sec-3, opposite to shreeram school
Menu- dum biryani, tikka biryani of both chicken and mutton, lollipop, leg pieces etc.
Ambience- worst. Just few tables inside the shop. Congested, not ventilated.
Hygiene- I have a big doubt. The condition of the curtain was so worst that it had become blackish from white.
Very disorganized. Couldn't see the kitchen idk what it would be like.
My order- my appetite was lost looking at the place. We ordered 2 dum biryani (rs100) and to try a leg pieces (40).
The biryani was all spiced up.. complete of masala ..there was no essence of biryani at all.
The leg piece was worst, it was hard to chew maybe because it was fried multiple times as they initially keep it to show and later when you order it's fried again to serve hot. But it sucked. And the raita that you get.. most places suck at it as you hardly find the curd good it's pre-prepared and that messes up everything.
I don't recommend at all you better eat fruits and sleep ..god I had this thought.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 5 years and several visits thru several phases of life.. Thru all seasons.. I think it's fair to conclude the experience at Azad caterers..
First of all this place is ment to be the service kitchen where you can order food in bulk quantity at reasonable price..
However, you may enjoy your meal for one person or two.. Without expecting much about the surrounding ambiance..
In my humble opinion the prices are reasonable.. Services are good most of the time.
Parking can be done at public property depending on the available space..
It's close to highway and main routes.. so in case you get stucked in traffic and you're looking for food which must taste better than everyday's chunky snacks, you may change route and take an hours break and come here to eat..
All non veg and veg delicacies tastes nice.. It's a place where you could do over eating very easily.. Because food tastes much good above the average and portion that they serve are good enough to surpass average persons one meal..
This explanation is mainly biased with my biryani and shawrma experience..
However, shawrma and other varieties worth to give a try
When I was working at mindspace airoli we have done bulk orders to Azad and everytime they have served us very well..
However I believe eating could be biased to our own preference.. So in case you are on the vegan side you may need to check your options in advance by making a phone call..
Finally it's not a proper commercial restaurant it's a family business of someone where everyone works for consumers welfare in exchange of price as shown in the menu.
This is a place everyone need to build relation and must be aware that here things may depends on availability of the delicacies especially during the last three hours of business.. 9 to 11 and weekend.
Finally this place is owned by self made people who have earned reputation in the business and you may feel relax in case you are grounded
