Baba Bhusandeswar Temple is located at Bhogarai village of Balasore district, Odisha, India. The 12 feet long and 14 feet width lingam is carved out on a black granite and only half of the lingam is visible. The other half has remained buried for years. The lingam has three parts. The middle portion of the lingam is octagonal in shape, about 12 feet in diameter and nearly four feet in height. The Lingam slightly leans towards the right side. It is commonly believed that, bhusandeswar shiv ling is the largest one in asia, but,Bhooteshwarnath (or Bhuteshwarnath) (भूतेश्वरनाथ महादेव) also known as Bhakurra Mahadeva (भाकुर्रा महादेव) is a temple of Lord Shiva, situated near Maroda Village of Gariaband district, is in the middle of the Gariaband Forests, is The Largest Natural Shivlinga (Lingam) in the world. What is miraculous about the Shivling is that its length increases by six to eight inches every year. It is about 18 feet tall and the width of the spherical surface of the Shivling is about 20 feet.

The trip from digha to the temple is beautiful. Just cross chandeswar and then head right through the meandering roads, greenery, ponds and a peaceful village life. Self driven ppl will surely enjoy. A hidden gem. I would highly recommend it.
