★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Useless joint, just trying to encash on some brand name, ordered tikka rice which they said is a Desi ghee preperation, my my, it was expensive as well compared to other tikka rice in Kanpur. What did I get... Some very ugly chicken pieces fried in stale oil, no flavour and no spices and this was mixed with biryani rice. It was a very poor and disappointing experience. Venture here at your own risk

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 experiences-- 1:Ok so it's one of the most sought after places in Kanpur. It's located in a very posh area Swaroop Nagar. There are many Fast food joints nearby and Famous Chat shops and Chinese food shops too. There are Many branded outlets also in the vicinity and even coaching centres.
2:So coming to the Baba foods. It has opened in last 6-8 years I guess (not sure) but it serves one of a kind Biryani. It's a Desi chicken biryani made in Desi ghee. They serve Tikka rice too. These are the best items they have and others are just average. It's a must try place for their biryani. The only negative point I find is the pricing. The pricing has increased rapidly and sometimes you feel that the meal is not a value for money.
My third experience was the worst in 2021 March. The butter chicken boneless curry was stale and pathetic. Biryani rice was good but chicken pieces were again stale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is located very near to the motijheel metro station, swaroop nagar Kanpur. The place is great for family dine because of the quality of the food provided here. We have tried chicken barra, chicken malai tikka, mutton rogan, chicken biryani. The biryani was made by pure desi ghee and the smells tell it. Also the chicken was desi chicken in the biryani. One of the great was chicken barra which is also a ghee based roasted item. Mutton was well cooked and taste was good.

Service wasn't great.
But the taste was absolutely amazing.
Would recommend if you're craving some scrumptious food and don't care about the value for money.
