★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Harihar Nath is a sacred place known for confluence of two pious river " Ganga" and " Gandak". Also the famous temple has deity where both Lord VISHNU ( Hari) and Lord Shiva ( Har) is worshiped in combination. So this is a very special place being very sacred and have religious importance. It lies in SONEPUR district and can be approached directly by train , Road and Flight ( Patna Airport).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very famous temple for the gaj grah katha. Bhagwan Shiv ji and Vishnu ji both are sthapit together, which is a rarity. Pristine environment. Just be aware of the thugs. One can enjoy boat ride with family at the cost of 150 rs if you reserve a boat for four people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me it's like one of the best religious place. Gandak river is so mesmerizing and looks beautiful .
Sonepur is famous for biggest animal fair which is held in month of November from Kartika poornima. And here is beautiful temple of shri Hari vishnu and its situated on the bank of River gandak.
Its easily accessible from capital of bihar patna just 15 km from patna .
I just want give you advice that if you want to see this beautiful place from patna come via JP setu don't take Mahatma gandhi setu.
There is presence of some more beautiful temple like naulakha temple. You can take boat ride which costs very less and enjoy the calmness of river gandak.
