β β β β β If you are looking for a good Punjabi food, then here is your choice:
Baba Punjabi in JP Nagar has a nice Punjabi vibe and promises to give you the best Punjab experience right here in Bangalore.
We ordered for a methi papad with masala on top. It was refreshing in the summer afternoons of Bangalore.
We decided to order a Maharaja Thali, was excited about it. The Maharshi Thali comes with two starters dahi ke Sholay and a soya chaap. There were two rotis with paneer sabzi and vegetable sabzi. And my favourite dal in makhani. Everything tastes authentic and delicious. Also a bowl of rice. Just a perfect platter with a dessert on the side.
They also serve a soft drink with this grand meal.
The place looks authentic and a lot of fun to dine here.

β β β β β It was a good experience, vibes of Punjab from the ambience. The food was fine. The service was no doubt fantastic: they served us really quick and the stuffs we attentive.
It's a vegetarian place so we ordered naan and panner butter masala. I personally loved Orange shikanji.

β β β β β Tried the restaurant for it's raving reviews of chaap, but the experience was pretty disappointing overall. We went in for a late lunch and were met with slow service on arrival.
We ordered Masala Papad @ Rs.90, the BBQ platter @ Rs.599 and Masala chaap @ Rs.249.
The BBQ platter included Tandoori Paneer Tikka, Afghani Chaap, Malai Chaap and Dahi ke Sholay.
The Masala Papad was good.
The Dahi ke Sholay was the best dish on the platter while the Afghani Chaap included was the best of the chaap we ordered. All the dishes were sugarcoated in their sauces and tasted extremely sweet. There was little difference between the spiciest option they offer (masala chaap) and the sweetest (malai chaap). The paneer and the chaap were all not marinated enough, thus leaving a bland flavor in the mouth when you finish. The base ingredients themselves seemed to be of good quality but there was no punch in any of the flavors and this made the experience lackluster.
This was our first visit to the restaurant and not sure if we'd try it again.
If you are on the lookout for good chaap in Bangalore, would recommend Punjabi Chaap Corner in Indiranagar.
All prices mentioned are excluding taxes.

β β β β β If youβre looking for authentic Punjabi and North Indian food then Baba Punjabi in JP nagar is a must try
The quirky, colourful ambience and large tables make it perfect for family style dining.
Service is very polite and friendly.
In food I recommend
β’ Rumali Tokri which is a crisp rumali roti that is spiced and topped with onion, tomato and sev. Tastes like masala papad but itβs a rumali roti. This is their signature dish, donβt miss it
β’ Dahi kebab. Itβs honestly one of the softest and creamiest dahi kebabs Iβve had. Tasted amazing.
β’ Afghani chaap. The soya chaap here is super soft and melt in the mouth. Itβs grilled in the tandoor and then coated in a sauce.
β’ Amritsari Kulche with chole. These kulchas were stuffed with potato and paneer and tasted heavenly with the richly spiced chole. Topped with pure butter.
β’ Lassi is something that shouldnβt be missed out here, itβs very thick and perfectly sweetened
Overall amazing place for Punjabi food. Highly recommend it.

β β β β β Quick service, quirky dΓ©cor, and fun music playing throughout! The food is also delicious and pretty authentic. Like true Punjabi cuisine, it's heavy and very filling so order accordingly.

β β β β β This place is absolutely delightful! Must visit for all punjabi food lovers, the quality of food is immense and the price tag justifies the courteous service and ambience. It's that perfect blend of Punjabi vibes and some Desi modern decor. I loved the kadhai paneer it is as very different from the usual ones you find in market, the Afghani chaap was decent and heavy, the masala cola was great and dal makhani is jain style so you won't find garlic in that but if you enjoy Jain style it's really good. Overall a wonderful experience kudos to the staff and owner! Cheers!
