One of the speciality is that all the 'Garbhgrah' or the 'bedi' (room where GOD's idols r there) are such aligned that one doesn't show its back to other while having darshan at any of them.
which is a kind of ritual while doing the pilgrimage..
Another notably beautiful things to observe are bedis made of wood or glass.
Also one magnificent 'rath' or Chariot made of silver is a rare thing to see
