A township at the edge of Jharkhand, connecting it to Odisha and West Bengal within few kilometres. Friendly people and the speciality is its language. A very unique dialect called as Subarnaraikhik Language, also known as 'Khaonto-Jaonto' Bhasha locally. Close to three states makes it special and mixture of various cultures.

A very peaceful and idyllic place with excellent Road connectivity, a driver's paradise... Amazingly fresh and tasty food in any eatery one visits... Absolutely warm, hospitable, non interfering and lovely people who are extremely helpful.. The best and most innocent people one can come across.. An ideal place to take a break from hectic city life.. Abundance of greenery, pure, pristine air, free from pollution.. lots of activities and sight seeing to indulge in. Historical places - 700- 800 year old architectural wonders to explore, Adventurous activities- Forst trekking, River walks, NOUKA ride - Navigating the mighty Subarnarekha River the way local fishermen do... Angling, Shallow Mud Pond fishing with hands while getting a full body coat of naturally occurring, mineral rich, aromatic clay having Ayurveda medicinal properties for skin glow. Hunting the Hunter - Locating and chasing the MAHALO - The smallest cousin of the big cat species like Tigers, Lions and Leopards which hunts on small animals like Roosters, Ducks, Turkeys.... Relaxing Nights - After a hectic days activities of trekking, exploring and pampering yourself with Nature's Mud bath, picking up a local guide like DHUMA MITRA, who also runs a small provision store cum eatery near the Historical BAHARAGORA HIGH SCHOOL - An institution which had nurtured some of the greatest Freedom Fighters in the region, spending time in any of the numerous Dhabas dotted across the place.. most notably BHAI BHAI HOTEL, Ghanta Paul's Dhaba, BADKA's hotel and a lot more Indulging with locals on the very specially curated dishes like "anda TADKA" and rotis while listening to the tales of the legendary "DHAAN KUNDRAS" and the unfindable "BLACK TURMERICS" under the star illuminated clear skies while sitting on Charpoys made of seasond pure local wood and weaved with local grass by artisans par excellence !!
