It's now the 3rd main railway station around the city after Jasidih Junction and Deoghar Junction.
It is a terminal railway station on Jasidih Baidyanathdham rail line.
This station is best for people who want to visit the Baidyanathdham temple and daily travellers living in mid of city( old deoghar).
Very few trains are available here for Jasidih and asansol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and well maintained station and platforms. The old metre guaged tracks have been replaced by broad guaged tracks. The train timings are horrible. Waited for a train for 30 minutes when we came to know that it would be late by another 30 minutes. So kindly check well ahead before opting for train.

You wont find parking space as this station is just like suburb station because of Mainline EMU.
Some may find convenient and few may not.
