I am grateful to my school. I am grateful to my teachers for their support. The teachers are amazing, they help you whenever you need them to. I wouldn't have been able to score a 94.2% aggregate in twelfth without them. I wouldn't have been able to score a perfect 100 without my Psychology teacher. I had many experiences in school which I will remember forever. I love my teachers. What I am upset about is the structure it followed and how it was unable to fill the gap between the real world and education. I am a person who is sensitive when it comes to talking about freedom and growth. My problem lies mostly with the system and the structure. The school tries but I think fails at holistic development. It doesn't cater to individual spirit or needs. It pushes discipline and strictness when care and concern would do the necessary. The school is becoming more and more like a prison, I felt like a prisoner when I was in it. But the authorities, the management and the head of the schools, they could do a better job. The school enforces studying like it's the only thing to do in the time. Music, art, dance classes don't operate to their full capacity. PE is a joke, pupils just go and sit in the ground to enjoy the sun. I loved those periods though, PT period was the one period where we could be free. Discipline and responsibilities are important, but schools shouldn't be all about that. Schooling system decides your priorities for you and tries to mold you into this ideal human being for which other pupils are crushed to mature into. Independence and freedom of opinion doesn't exist, there is no tolerance for criticism and criticism is directly taken to mean offence, even constructive criticism. The school faculty is irresponsive to the needs of the students and only knows how to impose rules and restrictions. Even in group projects, we don't learn teamwork or perseverance, two of the five groups had a major fight ending strong friendships in my time. We only learn how to suck up and get the job done. I wish team work was taught in real time, I wish feedback was taken from students in real time, I wish feedback from teachers was also equally valued. Because we are the ones affected by these decisions. How could you give a 15 days summer break and expect students to be okay with that? Everybody's got a life outside of studies, I doubt that you are running out of time to cover up the syllabus. Because I am aware that in online classes lessons do happen smoothly without interference due to other activities which do happen in classrooms. Due to the Annual Day, teachers miss out on half of the classes. Other activities too waste a lot of time. Project work is only good on paper, there's not a lot of learning happening when the parents are the ones buying charts and doing the colouring for their kids. Almost everything the school does, lacks real world experiences and skills. Annual Day is your attempt at showcasing the talents of the children, but mostly students just become a part of what the teachers want them to do. With all due respect to the teachers, I think for the Annual Day, teachers should act as a facilitator and not as the initiator and the leader. 14 years I spent in this school, most of them I felt crushed because anything I wanted to do was against the rules. Everything laid in the category of 'indiscipline'. I learnt everything the hard way here, never felt comfortable enough around a lot of people to voice my concerns because I had been silenced and threatened by many people to not criticise the schooling system. For years I felt like I had to hold my silence, keep these things to myself. But now that I am out of school, I have nothing to lose. For your kids, try to look for a better school and review the children, not the parents or the teachers for an actual review.

BBPS Rohini is one of the best schools in Rohini. Well qualified and experienced teachers, good infrastructure and a track record of delivering excellent results in both academics and sports over a period of time is what makes it so special. I would like to mention specially about Ms Meenu Sharma who is a true mentor building great and responsible citizens of the country. I highly recommend this school.
