★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near Singur, in the district of Hoogly, this is one of the best destination for railfanning. It is one of the railway stations of Howrah - Barddhaman Chord stretch, under the Howrah Division of Eastern Railway Zone of Indian Railways. No major long distance trains or express/mail/superfast trains halt at this station, but it is well connected with Kolkata and Barddhaman by Suburban trains (EMUs). Cold drinking water, washrooms for gents and ladies are available. Small eateries are situated nearby this station. It is also well connected with Singur and the village by auto rickshaws and battery operated rickshaws. But for railfans, it's one of the most visited railway stations of Howrah - Barddhaman Chord.

Balarambati is a railway station and a small town on the Howrah-Bardhaman chord and is located in Hooghly district in the Indian stateof West Bengal. The station is 32 kilometres (20 mi) from Howrah on the Howrah-Bardhaman chord line and is part of the Kolkata Suburban Railway system.

But if you want something to eat you can't get anything on the station not even branded water.
There are some flowers planted on the station looks very pretty.
Maintenance is also good.
The announcement is also done for all the trains even of the warning announcements of passing by trains.
You can find stores and vechiles just outside the station.
Overall a good station.
