★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Balasore district railway station . Important for northern Odisha . 4 functional platforms are there . Mainly trains from kgp , hwh, bbsr are operated. Two footover bridges. One lift for needy passengers are under construction. Dustbins are given enough to keep clean. One pay & use toilet facility . Pure drinking water systems incorporated. Well behaviour and clear announcement for all trains .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Station is very good in comparison to many small station . Most of the train are stay here . You can travel most of the state from here . Station also clean . Many workers clean the station everytime . Recently there are installation of two lifts for the passengers rather you can enjoy the foot over bridge . It is also wifi enabled station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chandipur Sea Beach is located on Bay of Bengal in Balasore district of Odisha. Nearest Railway station is Balasore (BLS) under SERly. NH-5 is also passing through the Balasore town. Car & vehicle is accessible from BLS Rly station and Balasore town and will take 40 minutes time to reach Chandipur beach.
This sea beach has a special characteristic that during low tide, only sand will be visible and tourist cannot find any sea water up to 5-6 km. Sea water is visible two times a day for a while. Other than OTDC Panthanivas, there are many hotels are located nearby the Chandipur Beach. Various sea foods are available near the beach in the evening. Recently construction work is in progress for making sitting arrangement, children parks and some places for amusements on the side of beach. Every year a festival namely Golden Beach Festival arranged here by State Govt. on the beach for a week time which attracted many tourists here to attend.
Chandipur is also famous due to the importance of Indian Army’s test range (DRDO) which already tested various missiles since a few years. However that place is surrounded by Indian Army and of course a restricted place.

The railway station is a neat one, no rubbish and foul at all. Very clean and sanitized platforms to stand. Trains come with proud here ?
