★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent swimming pool option available. Pool size 25 mtr by 50 mtr. Monthly passes issued before 5th of each month, Form needs to be submitted before that. Monthly fees 1000 rs each.
Update 01/03/2022 : Pool is now open for swimming for age above 18.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Balewadi stadium is one of the biggest and prestigious pools in Pune..
It has 4 pools in total
1 for jump diving and board diving which is 21ft
1 for professional swimmers who practice for nationals which is 7ft
1 for children which is 4ft
And another one for begginers which starts at 4ft and ends at 7ft
Two pools are of national pool size
Admissions are open every month from 1st - 5th
First month it's 1100 . 1000 for pool 100 for application.
Rest 1000 per month
Timings....
Pools operates from 6 in morning to 9 am and 3 in evening to 6pm
There are no separate slots for ladies
Overall it's a good experience to swim in such a large pool

One has to take admission by enrolling monthly for using the swimming pool.
Admission procedure -
Admissions are open only between 1st till 5th of every month in two batches - Morning 6 am to 9 am
Evening 3 pm to 6 pm
Please come prepared with 2 passport size photographs, Fitness Certificate for swimming from a doctor, Personal Identification (aadhar, pan, drivers licence).
Note that payments are accepted only in cash so don't forget to bring Rs 1100 in cash (Rs 100 for admission form + Rs 1000 monthly enrollment fees)
Steps -
1)Collect entry from by paying Rs 100
2) Fill the entry form
( you will need to choose the batch you wish to come in for swimming, at present there are 6 batches which you choose from -
Morning 6 am to 7 am
7 am to 8 am
8 am to 9 am
Evening 3 pm to 4 pm
4 pm to 5 pm
5 pm to 6 pm
3) Submit the enrollment form along with Rs 1000 as monthly enrollment fees.
4) Collect the receipt and note the receipt no for future reference since you'll need to enter it in the entry register whenever you come for swimming.
5) Bring your own swimming gear like goggles, swimming shorts, caps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, pool is open now. Olympic size pool. Trainer for adults only. I am learning from Deepak sir and he is very good. Registration only between date 1 to 5 and accepts only cash. I loved the pool and classes. Highly recommended. ( Except bathroom less maintained).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best swimming tank in Pune area at Balewadi stadium. Only pass members are allowed. One time ticket booking system is not available which is a huge benefit to filter out huge crowds during summer times. They have fixed tank capacity for every batch so it never gets overloaded like other local tanks. Passes are available for 1 month duration and one can purchase it during 1st - 5th of every month. One needs to fill up the application form and submit it along with aadhar card copy, cowin certificate copy and health certificate from your local doctor. Tank is very well maintained and chlorine content is quite low. Washrooms are also well maintained and clean. Overall great package for someone who would like to include swimming in their routines.
