★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The railway station of city Ballia. The prefix Baghi is added to the name Ballia after it's rich history. Great Mangal Pandey belongs from here. Talking about the station the expansion of it is still going on. The cleanliness and hygiene is taken care of.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to the railway station of Ballia and I saw the arrangement here, I liked it.
There is a lot of difference between the earlier Ballia railway station and Today's Ballia railway station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time at the Ballia station to catch the night Rajdhani train (April 2022). Had a few hours to rest. Dormitory rooms are better kept. Rs. 300 for 12 hours of Yatri Niwas room (on the platform) is a great price but the 3 rooms are in a bad shape and not clean, well kept. Better to stay in the male/female dormitory (on the platform itself). To book this go to the enquiry counter and the station TT will do the needful. Official receipt given for full money.
Drinking water on the platform is not fit for consumption. Neat clean platforms. Escalator has been added to the overhead pedestrian track crossing tracks but not yet functional.
Small station (3 platforms) with high frequency of trains. Wheelchair available with the TT.
