★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been a member of this library for four or five years before i moved on to the adults' section. And those four or five years had been the most important years in my life in terms of development of my personality.
This used to be a place of young bibliophiles, who gathered and shared ideas, and helped each other to grow into a more wise person. The collection of books were good, it covered most of the popular writings, with few rare books.
But it was not only about the books, it was the atmosphere in the library. This was not a boring place where there must be pin drop silence at all time otherwise you are barred. It was an interactive system that was designed to make better persons.
The most important part of this system were the library staffs, they were genuinely great people. The older staffs mingled as friends with the kids and the teenagers. They used to organize debates, and quizzes. Every month a wall magazine competition was held, it was the perfect environment for growing up with books.
The whole review is in past tense because it has been almost six years since the last time I set foot in those floors, I am not sure if it's still the same.
I hope it is.
