★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small station. Mostly a rural place. Dark and comparatively less crowdy than agarpara station.. the lighting isn't good. Station area is crowded with vegetable vendors.

It's has a good position... anyone can reach NH 34 from here within 15mnts and also reach jessore road within 10mnts...also you can reach Barasat city from here by train within 6-7 minutes..here you can get small bazar, ATM, liquor shop. It's a nice semi rural place
