This is full of verious trees.
And manybirds are available in this location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No doubt Banabitan Biodiversity Park is a place where you can come and spend a quality time observing nature. It is the second most largest open area after Kolkata Maidan. It is remarkable for the diversity of butterflies and birds ( terrestrial as well as water). But there is less maintenance of everything, it could be the best place in kolkata if it gets the right maintainace. Very few people are aware of this park so it also needs promotion. Cutting of large trees should be stopped. As a whole I want to say we should be responsible enough to the nature, people visiting there I request you please do not through plastics in the lake. It is our duty also to take care of the park.

The for spending time with friend and with loved ones . But this place is not for family and children .
This place have entry fee of 40 rupees per head

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful place to hang out with your partner or for photography. Lots of space and trees, if you're lucky you can see so may birds roaming around. It's such a huge space that sometimes you feel you're all alone here. Such a quiet, gorgeous and mesmerising place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I and my wife have been going to this park, also known as "Central Park", for morning walk for the last 15 years. This is a proper forest within a polluted city. It gives me a feel of walking in the woods with lake, squirrel ?️, parrots, kingfisher (blue colour) , owls, flowers ( specially the shivji one), different fruits ( kala jamun, falsa) etc etc. Made a new batch of friends for gossips, knowledge companionship.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very calm and tranquil , hardly a soul around when I went there , around 9 am , I got into the parking area , perhaps the lake shore there has lesser number of birds - was able to see a few cormorants and a heron during the 20 mins stay
