★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Finally get to visit this restaurant which was in plans for more than a few months.. although the restaurant has amazing ambiance (Borivali Shimpoli) the hospitability was pretty disturbing ☹️ while they were adamant that the Thali does not start until 12:30 (we were already in and settled by 12:15) pretty sure that the arrangements could have been done or even not atleast a line of comfort that let me try... The service was reallly really slow.. we ordered for Veg Mallipuram honestly it was totally blant however veg Chettinad was still better.. we finally got our Thali after an hr of waiting ☹️ which too did not have any absolutely no authentic dishes... Really sad... They really need to be more customer centric than hotel rules centric... I don't think we shall be visiting this place again... The aerated drink that we ordered had no fizz... Utterly dissapointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Banana leaf. Good place to visit with Family. Your parents will be happy to eat here. Authentic South Indian dishes. Must try south india food. Pineapple sheera. Bit pricy but good things come at a good price. Don't miss the filter coffee and the freebie Pan at the end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had visited this restaurant for the first time.... And I have to say thank you to the friends who convinced me to go there. The ambience is lovely clean and the restaurant is really spacious. The food is delicious with a twist on each and every standard south Indian dish. Don't miss the Rajani Masala Dosa and their myriads of chutney and also give the gunpowder masala a shot. You also have an oats dosa which is also well worth a shot. Take loads of people as you can then try a lot of stuff ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best South Indian Fine dine. It has an amazing decor and ambience. The menu is extensive as well. We tried the Rajni Dosa, Dakshin Biryani, Coorg Idli and filter coffee. Dosa was okay. Biryani and idli were just amazing. Must try. We wanted to try guntur Idli. But it was over by the time we placed the order. It is also one of the crowd favourites here. Do try them all

Rajni dosa topped the list.
Rasam Vada is exceptional
Neer dosa and Thai curry kofta was good.
Speciality dessert- pineapple dosa took us back to Tirupati.
We were 12 PPL, so the food images are in portions.
Ambience is nice with light south Indian music.
Prices are affordable.
Service is good.
Ending with a Paan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do yourself a favor and visit this place. Banana leaf takes all my heart ❤️ Best South Indian meal ever tasted in Mumbai. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – Sambhar Rice. Thuppa Masala Dosa - Just melts in your mouth. Absolutely the best meal we had in a while.
Highly recommend!??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just love this place! Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can visit this place for any of your meals. They serve amazing South Indian food. One of the best. My personal favourite is their Mulgai Idli and Akrot Halwa. Have tried other dishes also and they are equally good. A good place to dine with your family and friends. Is crowded on weekends so an early visit can save you some time.
