★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Banashankari Bus Station is a well maintained bus station. With large access roads and walkways with bollards and railings to prevent vehicles circulation into to walk space in front of the restaurant. The entrances to the bus stop and the offices have well designed ramps and stairs. However there isn't a ramp to the restaurant but can access if one goes around from the back through the bus stop entrance.
Once inside, there are well placed railing and grab bars. Platforms have well placed dustbins and seating. To get to the platforms one must take the zebra crossing, which is inaccessible for the vision and hearing impaired & the old aged on their own and require assistance (as there are no braille stand, tactile paving etc..)The bus schedule boards are hang from the ceiling which are hard to read. Overall, the bus station is a little dark on the inside but good access to parking, washrooms and restaurant.
Overall, the accessibility for differently abled is on the poor side. However, the accessibility for geriatric and children is good.
