It began as a place of worship of etchings of Hanuman on a massive rock and has today grown to be an active place of worship where all poojas are performed. Best place in the area to get a feel of a traditional south Indian temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Bande Anjaneya Temple located in the busy Nandidurga Road is an important landmark even from some 30 years back when this locality was absolutely ecstatic with free space all around, Bande Anjaneya was the only shrine hewm out of a massive rock formstion. Later on other shrines, those of Lord Balaji, Almelmanga, Lard Rama, Ganesha, Navagraha were added.
Bande Anjaneya is the central deity. Though small in stature, the idol is spiritually very imposing. All the other idols are also very beautiful and devine.
Very organized and duty minded Trustees and the Archagas ensure that the daily Poojas and other Maha Poojas during various auspicious occasions are performed with great devotion and grandeur. Delicious Prasadhams during Saturdays and other auspicious days are liberally distributed to all who visit the temple.
For seeking peace and tranquility this temple provides the best environment amidst the mad rush and traffic of the present day Nandidurga Road. For the spiritually inclined people of this neighborhood this temple is a Devine boon
