★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bandel junction is a avg. railway station . There are 4 routes (Burdwan, Kathuwa, Barackpur & Howrah). There are 5 platforms .On Platform no 2 an escelerator and on platform no4 also. Mainly daily approx 5k to 10k people's use to travels. Very Hygenic and wel maintain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the major Junction of Howrah - Burdwan Main line under Eastern Railway ( HWH Division).
Usually very crowded since early morning.
Station is a bit dirty !!
5 Major platforms are there namely Platforms no 1 , 1A, 1B, 2, 3, 4 !!
This station have a carshed for locals , Loco engines.

It is situated on the Howrah–Bandel–Barddhaman main line in Hooghly district with an approximate 40 kilometres (25 mi) distance from Howrah railway station. The station is operated by the Howrah railway division. There are seven platforms (1A, 1B, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) at Bandel Junction station. However, platform number 5 can accommodate only the 9-coach EMU trains so most of the 9-coach Bandel–Naihati locals depart from that platform. Bandel station is also connected to the Sealdah railway division by the Bandel–Naihati line.
