Very nice and beautiful place to visit in the vicinity, You wil find peace over there. Fish and Turtle are one of the main attraction over there. You can have a lunch in the garden. Water ATM and washroom are some of the service at garden. If you visit in the month of mansoon you will be able to see the waterfall.

Beautiful spot for a small family picnic. Lot of greenery. A sama but sweet Baneshwar temple. Lot of parking space. Children's Park area. Nice place to visit. Around 35-40 kns from Pune. No good hotel in the area. Carry your own tiffin.

It's a lord Shiva Mandir called Baneshwar. It is very calm and pleasant. There is one garden near to temple which is really big. It has got children's play area, some adventure sports and waterfall as well. Garden has 20 Rupees entry fee and you will have to pay extra for adventure sports. It's a good destination near Pune for a day picnic. There are two small ponds near temple which has fishes and turtles. Good place to take your kids.

We visited this place after visiting Katraj zoo. It is 45 minutes from zoo. It’s a beautiful old lord shiva temple made up of black stones. It has 2 ponds filled with full of fishes and turtles. Apart from being a place of worship there is a garden and adventure park developed for attracting more tourists, it has entry fee of Rs 20 for adults. Kids can enjoy play area which is full with all play equipments. To see waterfall visit in mansoon otherwise it is a good place to cost in all seasons. There are few hotels where you will get snacks like vadapav, Bhaji and pithal bhakari along with packed snacks and cold drinks. No big hotel nearby so suggestions to take your own food. Sufficient Parking area available. Road condition is okay from highway.

This temple is located on the Pune Satara highway near Nasrapur, the road is great along the highway but as soon as you take the turn the roads are bad and since you pass through the village centre it's pretty crowded as this place is a main center for many nearby villages. The roads are narrow at some places hence you need to be careful. After reaching the spot there is beautiful Shiv temple and it also has 3 ponds filled with fish and turtles, apart from being a place of worship there is a garden and adventure park developed for attracting more tourists, it has entry fee of Rs 20 for adults. It's a must visit place during all seasons but specially during monsoon to see the waterfall, we saw a lot of large groups had come here for family picnic with packed food and having it in the shade, good place to hangout, kids can also enjoy in the playground with equipments. Parking can be a little tight for cars during a crowded day but it's manageable. The adventure park was closed during the lockdown period but it has been reopened and undergoing renovations, please do visit and ensure you enjoy responsibly and contribute towards making this place even better There are a couple of small hotels serving snacks and packaged drinks incase you need a quick bite, they also sell packed drinking water bottle
