★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess Majestic Railways Back gate is less crowded then the front gate and it’s quite clean plus u can take ur cab just front of the entrance of back gate ,while coming to Banglore u can get easily cab n auto from back gate ….

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its one of major railway stations of bangalore. To access the platform numbers - 8 to 10 we have to use this gate. It also can be used to reach platform numbers 1-7 too. There is lot of cabs and auto service available but sometimes they charge more. You can book transportation online but just need to wait. Other services like eatery and all are available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ American here. Clean ride overnight. 1st class has locking cabins. Use bathroom while moving as they clean them when stopped. Come early and make sure your awake watching for your stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a tourist, I recommend a great place to visit. Make sure you get a platform pass from the ticket office. You want to see real India, then you will find it at a railway station and this place is a nice one to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the beautiful station on October of 2016 while going with my parents for a small trip to the city. Stayed in the deluxe rooms of the railway which are no less than any decent hotel but a lot cheaper. Rooms were hygienic, air conditioned and pleasing. Definitely recommend as a cheaper alternative to hotels outside the station. Food is available in shops and restaurants in and around the station.
