The flood is very beautiful across the Ganges and there you can celebrate the picnic birthday and there are cumin seeds and also the Virat temple is in the form of a very old tourist, next to it, the Barh Ganga fair is held.

Banganga park is the best and beautiful park available in shahdol Town. Inside this park, there is a very ancient temple called VIRATESHWAR TEMPLE SOHAGPUR. History of temple - It is one of the finest monument built by kalachri rulers and is datable to circa 11th century AD, on stylistic consideration of art and architecture. ACHITECTURE - The temple stands on richly decorated jagati and faces East. On plan it comprises of an ardhamandapa, mandapa and antrala followed by square garbhagriha. The garbhagriha nearly 3 m square in size enshrined with Shiva linga and jaladhari. The elevation of temple is divided into five major parts, viz, peetha, vedibandha, jangha, varandika and sikhara. The sikhara is of sapta ratha type. It has 21 bhumi amalakas on the four corners. The top of sikhara is surmounted by amalaka, chandrika amalasarika and kalasa. The sukhanasika has an image of Tandava Shiva within the medallion. Mandapa seems to have had a beautiful piramidal roof as evidenced by the remnents. Special features - A multi armed dancing Shiva, is of great interest of this temple. Several mithuna and other figures have close resemblance to the sculpture of khajuraho. The temple bears the influence of chandella and parmara art of the coeval period. Hope this information will help you. Thank you so much for reading this review till end.
