★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a part of bangur United club . The PRATIRODH BAHINI was formed some 40 years back to counter theft and snatching and pilfaragage with the help of local youths . This was one kind of R G PARTY . They started to organise durga puja about 35 years back . Several fool tournaments were organised by the club at their play ground . At times they had a swimming training programme also . Late USHA NATH UPADHYAY was the pioneering man . He was a good swimmer also and help a lot to the young ones to learn swimming . Most importantly he has saved many precious lives from drowning .
