Bank of Baroda offers the Senior Citizens Saving Scheme(SCSS Scheme) account to individuals above the age of 60 years or 55 years for those who have retired on superannuation or under a voluntary or special voluntary scheme or 50 years for the retired personnel of defence services (excluding civil defence employees). Depositors are allowed to open multiple account under this scheme with combined maximum limit of Rs. 15 lakhs in all accounts. The SCSS account is a robust and safe account designed especially for seniors to earn long term savings in their old age.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My father was an old account holder here but he didn't claim a debit card and net banking facility from the bank and one day all of sudden he hospitalized and wanted to withdrawn all of his hard earned money via cheque to pay hospital bills, unfortunately he was not in a condition to sign the cheque but somehow he tried and failed, then I requested the bank to take either his thumb impressions or to make a video while he signing the cheque but the stupid manager refused as she wanted to see my father infront before releasing the amount....I even requested her that I wouldn't mind to pay her staff expense if she allows any of her staff members to visit to the hospital to check my father's condition but she ignored my request and asked her team members not to release the payment...Literally I saw the bloody evil woman in real life.
