The bank was founded by the Maharaja of Baroda, Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III on 20 July 1908 in the Princely State of Baroda, in Gujarat. The bank, along with 13 other major commercial banks of India, was nationalised on 19 July 1969, by the Government of India and has been designated as a profit-making public sector undertaking (PSU).
As many as 10 banks have been merged with Bank of Baroda during its journey so far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All bank employees are very arrogant. They don't have manares.. don't know how to talk with customers. Delays work. Not at all supportive.
Maximum time ATM and Passbook machines are out of service. They don't service it on timely.
Such a bad experience. Virar East branch has to improve 'em a lot. Management please look into the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst bank I have ever encountered, the staff are really hopeless, my parents went to this branch and notified the staff that they are issuing a cheque and when the cheque came to clearing this people even called and confirmed details but still cancelled the cheque. I would seriously suggest to choose another bank if you dont want to waste your time and money.
