β β β β β That day, I was required to furnish my personal account statement with banks seal and signature for my visa purpose. This branch is around 1.7 KM's away from visa office.
The banks closing time was 3.30 and it was 3.10 already. Looking for a taxi could have wasted my time as it was on the opposite side. I wasted no time and ran all the distance. I reached when I was 3.25 or so... But as soon as I entered staff closed the gate. I made it in a Nick of time.
I straight away went into the managers cabin, and tried to explain my issue with a very high breathing. He asked me to first calm down and then asked my reason of visiting. And he just instructed his staff to get it done ASAP.
Normally I have seen the branch offices don't sign such documents of another branch. And that's what I was told by visa staff even.
I had only one day in Mumbai and was supposed to travel back to Kolhapur same night. Had the bank manager denied me the document... I would have to cancel all my plans.
Thanks a lot BANK OF INDIA.

β β β β β Bad Service. All staff are non-cooperative. Only current branch manager lady (Ms Kakade) is sensible and good nature. They don't even have PPF passbooks to give customers. Jr. staffs don't know proper information all products. They ask to each other. One staff (UP person) watching cricket on mobile for timepass.
