★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bar Council of West Bengal is the part of Bar Council of India located in the 5th Floor of City Civil Court Building Kolkata. For the application to become an Advocate one has to visit this place to avail the application forms and procedures, and there only the filled-in application has to be submitted. Even after clearly AIBE Examination which is now compulsory for an Advocate to Pass/ Clear, the Final AIBE Pass Certificate will also be issued from here. In one line.....a very important place for the Advocates or future advocates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and congestion place. A PLACE LIKE BCI OFFICE SHOULD BE LARGER AND HAVE AMPLE AMOUNT OF PLACE FOR THE PEOPLE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did not had a great experience here. The person did not recognized my University i.e. Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He said that you all have no certificate to teach law from the Bar Council of India. I had to go from here to there about clearing them about this. I had called all my friends asking their file number and then all the files were taken out and the documents were matched. I did not expected this from here. So many students from BHU get enrolled every year but still they have a doubt about the University being allowed to teach Law or not. This was hopelessness act. Pathetic experience. A work of merely 15 mins took about 2 hours. Moreover they never open the window on time. Maybe others had a good experience but I always had a bad experience to take away.

First they told to make dd Or submit money in there account and after that if you have and session gap they will tell to visit to the secretary for approval and so called secratary with seeing the documents will tell documents fake and tell you to write letter and after you will write the letter and submit they will tell they will call you and as usual no call from them.. Very unprofessional and doing bengali bihari shame on them. They are wasting the life,time,money of students. All are being harrased by them.
