Kalikrishna Mitra was the founder of this school and Kuntibala Mitra, the daughter of Nabinkrishna Mitra was the first student of this school. Not only in old days, still now, this school is famous in town and best girls school in Barasat and neighborhood. The education ranking of this school is still higher than any other schools and one of the most renowned schools in West Bengal. We are proud of our school.
