★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of busiest Railway Junction in West Bengal. Still lacks lot of facilities and poor maintenance. There is no proper locker room except for luggage room which is unmanned when you go to claim your luggage. It is painful for a transit passenger to carry around with the luggage. Waiting room is just an oven during summer and very crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good station but needs major focus on cleaning the outer portion as it's little unhygienic otherwise looks good.
Many trains run on this station to Delhi, Malda, Asansol Jalpaiguri and many more routes.
Secondly it's far from busstand. You will get toto at busstand to come here and the fare is Rs 20/ person but sometimes they charge dynamically due to the time constraints or for unavailability of adequate passengers at a time.
NB: Bike , four wheelers parking are available here . Even you will get ATMs too in station campus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is open 24/7. Place is neat and clean. I don't know about every train timing, but I caught up my schedule train in time. Most of the times place is mostly crowded. People and working persons are helpful. I got helped. Exception are everywhere. Food is always available at affordable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very important railway Station.... because all kind of trains are stopped on this Station ... but incomparable of importance It's not clear enough for the passage... but the good thing is recently new escalator installation... it's really helpful for the passenger... waiting room wifi are very good ... but not enough space for sitting... overall okay ... I like this Station.....
