★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very good and clean railway station.it has 3 platform. Number of trains have stoppage here. Platform expansion work is being continued. It is also known as Shakti Dhaam barhiya. Jawahar navoday vidyalayon , temple of Maa Bala Tripur Sundari and river Ganga is famous place here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am just in love with this place. It has sweetness all around whether it's the slang, regional language, rasgulla, temples. The other thing which is so full here is the devotion in God. Its on the bank of Ganga which adds the scenic experience here. Worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barhiya, station code BRYA, serves the municipal city of Barhiya in the Lakhisarai district in the Indian state of Bihar. The station belongs to the Danapur division of East Central Railway. Barhiya is connected to metropolitan areas of India, by the Delhi Kolkata Main Line via Mugalsarai-Patna route which runs along the historic Grand Trunk road. Railways and roads are the main means of transport in the Barhiya region. Due to its location on Howrah Patna Mughal sarai Main line, most of the Patna, Barauni bound express trains coming from Howrah, Sealdah, Ranchi, Tatanagar stop here. The Sahibganj loop line leaves Munger district, and enters Lakhisarai district near the Barhiya Station.
