In the Bengali months calendar's o n falgun month here a big pujo of MAA is going for far many years it has to be told that this pujo of MAA ROKHA KALI has been going on for more than 200 years.The celebration of this Pujo here in month of Falgun is damn high many tourist pilgrim here for a day for this pujo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Domjur Baruipara Kali Temple is a famous place in Howrah district. It is located near Domjur Police Station and Hospital. You can see here a nice marble floored temple. The villagers organises Raksha Kali Puja every year in the month of Falgun. For seven days they arrange so many events like the main Kali Puja, Chandi Path and the other days full of enjoyment like Vog Bitaran, folk songs, Yatra, Late night orchestra etc. For a week long the villagers forget all the sorrows and suffering of life. Their relatives also come here this time to enjoy the occasion. A mini fare with so many stalls make the road attractive. The Puja committee built an eye catching two storied building with marble flooring, and all the modern facilities. You wouldn't believe such a building of a local Puja committee. However the villagers and the club members have modest and friendly behaviour. They all feel proud of the Puja occasion. Thank you.____Rupam
