It has seen the rules of britishers and struggle of Odisha people specially The Paika Pua ( People of Khorda ) it also contains a memory pillar call "Smruti Stambha". It is now under construction in the date 8th jan 2018. Where Girls are not allowed to go to the top of the hill as it's full of dangerous road. It will be friendly once it get constructed. Nice place to visit & for Picnic as it's very spacious in all angles.

Baruni Hill or Nongmaiching Hill or Selloi Langmai Hill or Sunday Mountain is a Hill range in the Himalayan state of Manipur and the abode of God Lainingthou Nongpok Ningthou and his consort Panthoibi in Manipuri mythology. The Hill is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for followers of Sanamahi faith in the entire North East India. The Hill is best known for the adventure activities including mountain hiking and mountain climbing.
