Basti railway station is a main railway station in Basti district, Uttar Pradesh. Its code is BST. It serves Basticity. The station consists of 4 platforms. The platform is not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation.It is the important railway station of North Eastern Railway Zone. The main line connecting Lucknow with Gorakhpur and places in Bihar and Assam in the east passes through the south of the district. . There is a daily Intercity express between Gorakhpur, Gondaand Lucknow. The station is well connected to Delhi , Mumbai.

v	vips kumar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't spend much time here on the station. But needs more staircases, perhaps Escalators on platforms will be great. People carrying luggage bombard the staircase, might result in some kind of massacre in the near future. Also the only staircase is too narrow for people to walk with luggage. Outside the railway station, you will have ample transport services, but advisable to take help of a local else they will overcharge you high. 'v'
