★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing special in Basti city to visit. Basti station in one of older railway station. You can find 2 reservation counter and 4 counter for local tickets. For crossing to the other platform you can find elevator and foot steps. Here paid parking is also available for two and four wheeler. This station have wheelchair accessible. Now the cleaning stuff is from the service provider so station looks clean. Speed post is also available at the station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small station with two escalators, google WiFi and well transport management. Even the roads outside the station were recently refurbished. And you will see a lot of monkeys? here. But, don't worry, they are completely harmless and will amuse you.?

One of the busy and safe station in east UP.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very good regional station lots of trains stop there I used to go at my destinations most of the time from there there are little bit less security but it's a good railway station there is no crowd and people are very good because they all are villages and I think India's most of the states you can catch the trains from here like Punjab Gujarat Mumbai Delhi Lucknow etc.

The main line connecting Lucknow with Gorakhpur and places in Bihar and Assam in the east passes through the south of the district.
