★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basu Bari is one the best banquet/wedding halls in this area. There are a lot of options on the area so I will just highlight the main points here that I loved.
The owner/caretaker Mr. Surajit Basu is an extremely well mannered person. He truly believes in good service. He is the only point person you need to talk to, the only one who will handle payments and all other arrangements. To be clear, the villa, catering, decorators are all different. You can bring your own vendors or ask him for a reference. The day of the function, he was there the entire day, overseeing everything and helping in parking too. You will not get this anywhere else. Once everything was completed, he took a chair and was sitting outside the venue at a little distance, not interfering with anything but always ready to help. This is vital because if you bring in different vendors, you will need the manager of the villa because there are so many parts that work in tandem. And he was always there.
Payment was hassle free and online. The caution money was refunded the next morning itself.
The villa is extremely spacious, with enough rooms and large sized beds and sofas everywhere. It is G+1 and there is also a roof that you may use if you like. The lawn is the best thing because you get to decorate it any way you like. And trust me, since there is ample space, the decoration aspect is vital. The decoration will change the entire look. This is the primary reason I selected the villa.
The other reason for which I selected this villa is the parking. You can park more than 15-20 cars, 26 seater travellers in the adjoining road withing a 50 metre. Even after parking, there is enough space for another traveller to pass easily.
I won't write anything about the looks of the villa because that you can easily visit. See the parking and meet the owner for yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Banquet is great for events like wedding, anniversary etc. But I'm not at all happy with the behavior of the owner at the end. After completing all the payments he was creating new terms and conditions and it was embarrassing for us. I would recommend clear the terms and conditions before closing the payment.
