★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bateshwar dham is a nice place to visit.It is situated on the bank of holy Yamuna river. It is famous for 108 temples around there and inverted flow of yamuna river. There is a main temple which is the main thing of interest for pilgrimage visiting here. Despite of being a tourist attraction, no facilities are there like restrooms, hotels, restaurants, etc. It lacks in the effective management of the visitors. It is very poorly maintained such that out of those 108 temples only ruins of some temples are left. The other problem is regarding the cleanliness of the premises. The way to the temple is filthy, giving poor smell, and oftentimes have water and dirt spill on it.
Conclusion: If you want to visit this place as a holy pilgrim then you can go for it but if you are planning to pay a tourist visit to this place then you should think twice about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique experience to see so many temples structures together.The place is amazing, Wonderful old temples with fantastic carvings in a peaceful setting. Definitely worth a visit.
Was at this place with one of my friends. Liberally liked kind of loneliness of this secluded place. There used to be 101 temples but now only about 20 of them exist. We just visited some of them and I loved watching different sized turtles which are known as vehicle of Goddess Yamuna.

It is an important spiritual and cultural centre for Hindus and Jains. It is known for the 101 Shiva Temple Complex. An annual religious and animal fair is also organised in the village ground area.
Motorable road till temple and parking is easily available except Monday.
Be careful from monkey's ?. Carry a handbag instead of polybags.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the birth place of Shri Vasudev ji father of Lord Krishna, whose Pauranik name is Shursen nagri(Kaushambi nagri) Now only Shiv temple is here. Truly an amazing place to visit.One should must do parikrama of whole Bateshwar dham.Sri Pataleshwar mahadev and Vankhandeshwar mahadev(served by Sri Shursen ji grandfather of Lord Krishna)are the most attractive Shivlings and Shiv temples in the parikrama, such divine feelings and vibes come from there. Such beautiful forest area I've ever seen. Such an amazing experience ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is just an hour far from Agra. Road is single lane but it was good. Bateshwar temple is 6 km inside from the main road. You can come here by bus too and take an auto rickshaw from the main road to the tample or you can come directly with your own vehicle. I went there during the mela so it was slightly crowded but normally it is very calm and peaceful.
You should visit each and every temple there because each temple is unique in it's own way. You can also enjoy boat ride here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bridge comes before Bateshwar Dham. This is a very nice place, here in the morning when the sun rises and in the evening when the sun sets, then that sight is worth seeing and the Yamuna river flows from under this bridge. And here you can also see turtles and fishes.
