★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chandannagar have few quality restaurants, existing or several recently opened are all local and maintaining standard or food quality or pricing is a big issue. Here BAWARCHI has scored few good points. Takeaway portion is good and restaurant "Bhuter Raja Dilo Bor" is classy. Pricing is also reasonable and food was good. Just opened so I am giving 2 and later I may review it for more stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I ordered bawarchi special 18" roll and egg chicken roll, now coming to 18" roll first of all i received 17" roll and yes I measured it coz I was too excited to try this much talked about roll , and honestly i was bit disappointed. Now coming to taste , well I like roll with different sauce , if not many at lest bit tomato sauce and lemon juice which they lack , none of their roll have sauce , they give some kind of tarkari inside, also the egg with the paratha is very minimal .
Apart from that I must say the Partha of the roll is awesome , its so soo crispy and tasty , the special roll consists of mutton pieces chicken pieces paneer capsicum and of course the onions , just that i didn't like the tarkari inside.
I would be really happy if they have the option of giving sauces
also please give more egg especially when it is egg chicken roll.As for price it is reasonable.
Anyone who likes roll without sauce and with tarkari then it is a must go for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had lunch here today. The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. We enjoyed our delicious Durga Puja Special menu. We are very very satisfied with the decent food, service and quality . Must try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Mutton Biriyani ever. Just unbelievable. Pathetic. Rice was unboiled, felt bad smell, too much spicy, Mutton piece was fully uneatable - a chunk of fat - had to throw it out, felt like burnt, chicken tikka pieces were nearly 1/4th of a moderate tikka and thay too over burnt, only egg and onion salad was good. Packed in a non food grade plastic box. Absolutely worst ever experience and unexpected too from a renowned restaurant like Bawarchi !!!!!
