★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has become quite popular and rightfully so. The Donne biryani is subtle flavoured and smells heavenly.
If there was an addition of some more heat from green chillies it would be better (according to me).
We tried pepper chicken and kshatriya kabab too. They were fine.
One great change they have to make would be replacing the plastic coated paper plates with banana leaves. It will be a much more better experience and great for the environment. This is the main reason I am removing a star from my rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste was ok but price was little more competitive to other places and they don't provide water for drinking ,instead we have to pay for that. I have never seen such hotels which doesn't provide water for customers, if they give service they should provide the water to customers. Instead they can make just takeaway counter instead of dining.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This biryani experience was a pleasant surprise for me. Being a donne lover, I was looking forward to my comfort meal on a Friday and ordered from here at around 9:30 pm.
- The Mutton Donne Biryani was spiced brilliantly and I received 4 pieces which were very tender and the perfect blend of meat and fat. If you're a fan of spicy donne biryanis, you will love this one. The gravy was worth a special mention as it was spicy and was a great combo with the rice.
- The Chicken Kababs were succulent and quite tasty with some good cuts and not the irregular cuts that we mostly recieve. The kababs tasted very fresh and made a great combo with the biryani rice. One look at the attached pics and you will know exactly what I'm talking about.
- The attention to detail by the owner who is also the head chef was something I was really impressed by — everything from the quality of the meat sourced to the spice levels to the measure of organic masala without any artificial flavours felt like a true naati experience — and for me this is the most important aspect of a donne biryani restaurant. Even the way the onions were perfectly sliced to the fresh lime pieces that they include, as well as the mint chutney included with the kababs all make for a fantastic overall experience.
I highly recommend this food joint, a must try place :)

Bendakaluru Donne Biryani in BTM Layout is my new go to place for a nice Chicken Donne Biryani!
Donne Biryani here is subtle, flavourful and perfect, it doesn't have extra spices or green chillies, the right amount of coriander, mint and green chilli for a perfect balance and this reminds a lot like the SGS Gundu Palav. The green chilli chicken is fine and nothing great, with black pepper in it is quite a bit different. The highlight of our meal was the Chicken Chops. I am not a fan of chicken chops, but this place changed my notion towards it. The chops are fantastically cooked, marinated well with yoghurt and spices, cooked in a gravy of tomatoes, pepper and other masalas, this is beautiful. Do not miss Kshatriya Kabab and the normal Chicken kababs if you fancy kababs.

The meat in both and the rice were so well cooked. A bit on the spicier side when you compare to your regular donne biryanis but this is good! They also provide some green chutney along with your kebab if you like it extremely spicy. The food and the place was very hygienic. Great service. Very reasonably priced.
If you have a large appetite, just 250 rupees can make you happier here.
Really happy with the food they offer, for the price you pay.
Note: Parking could be an issue. Forget cars, you barely find space to park your 2 wheelers as this is located in a very busy street.
